How to Find and Tame the Axolotl Pet Enderman

The Axolotl Pet Enderman is one of the mod's friendlier mobs and makes a useful companion if you can find and befriend one. It is associated with aquatic or coral-themed areas, so start your search there.

Locating One

Head to coral reefs, warm oceans, or any biome where the Coral Enderman spawns. The Axolotl Pet Enderman shares that habitat. Bring a water breathing potion and a bucket — you will be underwater for a while. Search at night or in low light, since endermen variants generally prefer darker conditions.

Befriending It

Like vanilla axolotls, this pet is likely tamed or attracted with a food item — check the mob's tooltip or the mod's mob page for the exact item. Approach slowly and avoid looking directly at it if it shares enderman aggro behavior. Once tamed, it will follow you and can be told to sit.

Keeping It Alive

Pet endermen are not invincible. Keep it out of lava, away from water if it is not aquatic, and away from hostile mobs. If it dies, you cannot revive it — you will need to tame another. Carry its favorite food so you can heal it after fights.
