Making Crystalline Alloy and Its Uses

Crystalline Alloy is the second tier of Endergy alloys and unlocks the Crystalline Capacitor and Crystalline Alloy Grinding Ball.

Crafting It

Combine Crude Steel with the appropriate crystalline ingredient in an Alloy Smelter. The exact inputs follow the mod's standard alloy pattern — one base metal plus one additive. Once you have the ingot, you can craft it into a block, nuggets, a grinding ball, or a capacitor.

Where It Fits in Progression

Crystalline Alloy is the bridge between the cheap early game and the expensive late game. Do not skip it — the Crystalline Capacitor is a solid mid-game upgrade for machines that need more speed than a Grainy Capacitor provides, and the Crystalline Alloy Grinding Ball is a meaningful step up from Crude Steel. Crystalline Alloy Blocks are also useful as decorative storage. If you are automating your alloy production, set up a dedicated Alloy Smelter for Crystalline Alloy so you are not constantly swapping recipes. Keep a buffer of Crude Steel feeding into it so the line never stalls.
