Crafting and Installing Endergy Capacitors

Capacitors are the energy-storage upgrade for Ender IO machines. Endergy adds five tiers that slot into the capacitor slot of any compatible machine.

The Tiers

From lowest to highest: Grainy, Crystalline, Melodic, Vivid, Stellar. There is also a Totemic Capacitor, which is a special variant. Each tier increases the machine's energy buffer, speed, and sometimes energy efficiency. You craft a capacitor from its matching alloy and other components, then open the machine's GUI and place it in the capacitor slot.

Choosing the Right Capacitor

Match the capacitor to the machine's job. A slow passive machine like a basic alloy smelter does not need a Stellar Capacitor — a Crystalline or Melodic is plenty. Save your top-tier capacitors for high-demand machines such as the SAG Mill or the Alloy Smelter running continuous recipes. If you are power-limited, a higher-tier capacitor can actually hurt because the machine drains your buffer faster; make sure your generator can keep up. Capacitors are not consumed on use, so you can pull one out and move it to another machine whenever your setup changes.
