How to Equip and View Your Dragon Wings

Equipping the Wings

Once the resource pack is installed and activated in your world settings, your elytra will automatically display as dragon wings. You don't need to craft or obtain anything special—any elytra you already have or find will use the new dragon wing texture.

Viewing Your Wings in Flight

To see your dragon wings in action:

1. Climb to a high location or use creative mode to fly

2. Equip your elytra in your chest plate slot

3. Jump and glide through the air

4. Watch as the wings animate smoothly as you move

The wings are most visible when you're actively gliding. Adjust your camera angle to appreciate the detailed design and vibrant colors. The animation becomes more apparent during sustained flight, giving you that immersive dragon rider feeling.

First-Person vs Third-Person

For the best visual experience, switch to third-person view (press F5 by default). This perspective lets you see the full dragon wing design and animations, whereas first-person view limits your visibility of the wings themselves.
