Troubleshoot the Dragon Model Not Appearing

Check Your Mod Installation

The most common issue is missing the required mod dependency. Verify you have either Optifine or Entity Model Features installed—the resource pack cannot work alone.

Verify Video Settings

1. Open Video Settings

2. Search for Custom Entity Models or Entity Models option

3. Ensure it is set to ON (not OFF or disabled)

4. Apply changes and restart your game

If you don't see this option at all, your mod isn't installed correctly.

Check Resource Pack Loading

1. Go to Options → Resource Packs

2. Confirm Ender Dragon Reborn appears in the Selected list (right side), not Available

3. If it's in Available, drag it to Selected

4. Look at the bottom of the screen—any red text indicates a conflict or error

Test in the End

Travel to the End dimension. The dragon should now display with the new wyvern model. If still blocky, try restarting your game completely. Resource pack changes sometimes require a full restart to take effect.
