Understand the Performance Impact

The detailed wyvern model is more complex than the default dragon, which can affect frame rates on lower-end systems. The custom entity model requires additional rendering calculations.

Adjust Graphics Settings

1. Open Video Settings

2. Reduce Render Distance if you experience lag in the End

3. Lower Entity Shadows or disable them entirely

4. Set Particles to Minimal

5. Disable Smooth Lighting if needed

Optimize Mod Settings

If using Optifine:

• Go to Optifine Settings → Performance
• Reduce Entity Render Distance to lower values
• Disable unnecessary visual enhancements

If using Entity Model Features:

• Check the mod's config for entity rendering options
• Disable extra visual effects if available

Monitor Frame Rate

Use F3 (Debug Screen) to watch your FPS during the dragon fight. If it drops significantly, reduce settings further or consider using a simpler resource pack for the final battle.
