Set Up Different Storage Sizes for Player Groups

Assign Storage Tiers by Permission

The plugin uses permission nodes to control how much vault space each player receives. You can give different groups different storage capacities.

Steps

1. Open your permissions plugin configuration (LuckPerms, PermissionsEx, etc.)

2. Assign one of these permission nodes to each player group:

  • ecvault.size.9 — gives 9 slots (1 row)
  • ecvault.size.27 — gives 27 slots (3 rows, vanilla size)
  • ecvault.size.54 — gives 54 slots (6 rows, maximum)

3. Save your permissions configuration

4. Run /ec reload in-game to apply changes

5. Have players rejoin or run the reload command for permissions to take effect

Tips

  • A player with multiple size permissions will receive the largest one
  • Default players without any size permission typically get 27 slots
  • You can create custom groups like "VIP" with 54 slots and "Member" with 27 slots
  • Test by opening your own vault with /ec to verify your storage size
