How to Craft and Place an End Portal Anywhere

Gathering the Ingredients

Before you can craft a portal, you need the exact components the mod requires: 5 Eyes of Ender, 1 Dragon Egg, and 3 End Stone. Eyes of Ender come from combining Ender Pearls with Blaze Powder, so plan a trip to the Nether for Blaze Rods and hunt Endermen for Pearls. End Stone is found in the End dimension, and the Dragon Egg is dropped by the Ender Dragon after you defeat it. Because the dragon always drops an egg in this mod, you never have to worry about losing your only one.

Crafting and Placing the Portal

Open your crafting grid and arrange the ingredients according to the mod's recipe. Once crafted, you receive a placeable End Portal block. Find a flat, open area — right next to your base works fine — and place it down like any normal block. Step inside to teleport to the End. If you want a second portal near another home, simply repeat the process once you have another Dragon Egg and the required materials. Remember that breaking a portal frame may require a Silk Touch pickaxe if that option is enabled in your config, so keep one handy if you plan to relocate the portal later.
