How to Configure Portal Frame Breaking and Inventory Behavior

Finding the Config Options

This mod includes configurable settings that change how portal frames behave when broken. Open your mod's config file or in-game config menu to find options related to Silk Touch requirements and inventory behavior. The Silk Touch option determines whether you need a Silk Touch pickaxe to successfully break a portal frame. If it is enabled, mining without Silk Touch will not drop the frame. If disabled, any pickaxe works.

Adjusting Inventory Behavior

Another setting controls what happens to the frame when you break it. You can choose whether the frame drops on the ground as an item or goes directly into your inventory. If you prefer not to chase dropped items, set it to go straight into your inventory — but make sure you have free slots. If you want the vanilla-style drop behavior, leave it on the ground setting. After changing any config option, restart your game or reload the config so the changes take effect. Test by breaking a frame in a safe area before dismantling a portal you care about, so you do not accidentally lose it due to a misconfigured setting.
