Set up a fully enchanted mining setup with Gluttony and Crab's Touch

Gather the enchantments

You'll need to find or trade for both Gluttony and Crab's Touch enchantments. Gluttony can be obtained from the enchantment table or librarian trades, while Crab's Touch is found in ocean structures (shipwrecks, ocean ruins, trail ruins) or through librarian trades.

Apply to your tools

Enchant a pickaxe, axe, or shovel with both Gluttony and Crab's Touch. You can combine enchanted books on an anvil if needed. Aim for at least level 2 Gluttony to unlock the extended range interaction with Crab's Touch.

Optimize your setup

Place the Crab's Touch tool in your offhand—this allows you to break blocks from up to 7.5 blocks away (at level 3). Your main hand tool with Gluttony will automatically collect mined blocks directly into your inventory instead of dropping them.

For maximum efficiency, level 3 Gluttony also collects experience orbs, letting you gain XP while mining remotely. This setup eliminates the need to pick up dropped items and dramatically speeds up mining operations, especially for large-scale projects.
