How to Find and Identify New Enchantments at the Enchanting Table

Understanding the Expanded Enchantment Pool

With over 140 new enchantments added, your enchanting table now offers many more options than vanilla Minecraft. When you open the enchanting interface, you'll see unfamiliar enchantment names alongside standard ones. These are the mod's additions.

Finding Specific Enchantments

Step 1: Gather experience levels. The more levels you have, the better enchantments appear.

Step 2: Place your tool or weapon on the enchanting table and observe the three offered enchantments. If none match what you want, close the interface without enchanting.

Step 3: Repeat the process. Each time you open the table with a fresh item, the enchantment pool reshuffles, giving you new options.

Step 4: Look for enchantment names you don't recognize—these are likely from the mod. Read their descriptions in the tooltip to understand their effects.

Tip

Higher enchanting table levels (achieved by surrounding it with bookshelves) increase the chance of rare and powerful new enchantments appearing. Experiment with different tool types, as some enchantments may only apply to specific items like swords, pickaxes, or armor.
