Transfer an Enchantment from a Weapon to a Book

Basic Transfer Process

To move an enchantment from your weapon to an enchanted book:

1. Open your crafting menu or access the mod's transfer interface (exact method depends on your mod version—check if there's a dedicated GUI block or if transfers happen in the crafting grid)

2. Place your enchanted weapon in the designated input slot

3. Place an empty book in the second slot

4. The interface will display which enchantments can be transferred

5. Select the enchantment you wish to transfer

6. Confirm the transfer

Experience Cost

The mod automatically calculates an experience cost based on the enchantment's level and type. You must have enough experience points in your experience bar to complete the transfer. The cost is designed to maintain game balance—stronger enchantments require more experience.

Result

Once transferred, the enchanted book will contain the selected enchantment at its original level. The weapon will lose that enchantment. You can now apply this book to another item using an anvil, or store it for later use.
