Customize Transfer Costs and Balance in Config

Accessing Configuration

The mod includes a config file that controls how much experience transferring costs and other balance settings. This file is typically located in your mod configuration folder.

Common Settings

Look for options that control:

• Experience cost multiplier: Adjusts how expensive transfers are overall
• Per-enchantment costs: Some configs let you set individual costs for specific enchantment types
• Transfer success rates: Whether transfers always succeed or can fail
• Enchantment level restrictions: Whether you can transfer max-level enchantments

Applying Changes

Edit the config file with a text editor, save your changes, then restart your game or reload the mod for changes to take effect. Start with small adjustments—increasing or decreasing the multiplier by small amounts—to find a balance that feels right for your gameplay.
