Identify When an Enchantment Has Reached Its Maximum Level

Understanding the Indicator

When an enchantment on a tool or armor piece reaches its maximum level cap, the mod displays a visual symbol next to that enchantment in the item's tooltip. By default, this symbol is a golden star, making it immediately obvious which enchantments cannot be leveled up further.

How to Check Your Items

1. Hold an enchanted item in your inventory

2. Hover your mouse over it to view the tooltip

3. Look at the list of enchantments displayed

4. Any enchantment with the indicator symbol (golden star by default) is at maximum level

5. Enchantments without the symbol can still be upgraded

Why This Matters

This is especially useful when working with anvils. Instead of placing an item in an anvil and waiting for a warning message, you can instantly see which enchantments are already maxed out. This saves time and resources, particularly when combining enchanted books or merging tools together. Newer players benefit most from this feature, as enchantment level caps aren't always intuitive.
