Accessing Sodium's Default Interface

If you want to temporarily or permanently use Sodium's original custom settings layout instead of the vanilla style, you have options.

Quick Access with Alt + P

Press Alt + P to instantly switch to Sodium's original custom settings screen. This is the fastest way to access the default interface without any installation changes. You can switch back just as easily.

When You Might Need This

You may prefer the original Sodium layout if you're more familiar with it, if you find specific features easier to locate there, or if you're troubleshooting compatibility issues with other mods. The original interface is always just one keystroke away.

The vanilla-style menu is the default when you first open settings, but the original Sodium screen remains fully functional and accessible. Neither layout is permanent—you control which one you see every time you open the menu.
