What Enchancement Changes

Enchancement Mod is a small mod that completely overhauls the vanilla enchanting system and some adjacent mechanics. Instead of the familiar random enchantment rolls, it introduces 29 unique and fun enchantments built around distinct playstyles rather than raw stat stacking.

Armor Enchantments

Enchantments are grouped by armor piece. Helmet enchantments include Assimilation, which automatically eats food when it would not be wasted, checks only off-hand food if present, and speeds up eating and drinking. Perception grants increased dark visibility and lets you see entities through walls within 16 blocks. Veil makes hostile entities need to be four times closer to detect you and hides your name through walls.

Chestplate enchantments include Amphibious, which boosts movement and mining speed underwater, extends underwater breath, and halves time spent on fire. Strafe lets you double tap the sprint key to push in your movement direction and increases air mobility. More enchantments exist for other slots.
