Perform Emotes on a Multiplayer Server

Install Mod on Server and Client

For emotes to display to other players, the Emotecraft mod must be installed on both the server and your client. Without server-side installation, your emotes won't synchronize or be visible to others.

Open the Emote Menu

Press your emote key to bring up the emotion selection screen.

Select an Emote

Choose the emotion you want to display. Click on it or press your pre-bound hotkey if you've set one up.

Watch Your Character Perform

Your character will play the animation. Other players on the server will see your emote in real-time if they're nearby.

Use Emotes for Communication

Emotes work great for greeting new players, expressing reactions during events, or adding personality to your interactions without typing. They're especially useful in social hubs or when meeting other builders.

Troubleshooting

If others can't see your emotes, confirm the mod is installed server-side. If the server lacks the mod, emotes only play locally for you.
