Find Items Faster Using Tabs and Categories

How Tabs Organize Your Items

EMI Plus Plus displays Creative Mode tabs that group items by category—blocks, tools, decorations, and more. Instead of scrolling through a massive flat list, you can jump directly to the category you need.

Using Tabs to Navigate

1. Open your EMI menu.

2. Look at the top or side of the screen where tabs are displayed.

3. Click any tab to filter items to that category (e.g., "Building Blocks", "Tools", "Decorations").

4. Scroll through the filtered list to find your item.

5. Click the item to add it to your inventory or view its recipe.

Combining Tabs with Stack Grouping

For even faster searching:

• Use tabs to narrow down to a category
• Use Stack Grouping to collapse similar items into expandable groups
• Click a group to reveal all variants

For example: Click the "Blocks" tab, then expand the "Wool" group to see all colored wool at once.

Searching Within Tabs

Most EMI implementations include a search bar. Type an item name to filter results across all tabs instantly. This is the fastest way to find specific items in large modpacks.
