What Stack Grouping Does

Stack Grouping automatically combines related items into single expandable entries. Instead of seeing dozens of colored wool blocks listed separately, you'll see one "Wool" entry you can click to reveal all variants. This works for spawn eggs, banners, armor sets, and many other item families.

How to Use It

1. Open your EMI Plus Plus menu (usually by pressing a hotkey like E or through your mod menu).

2. Look for the Settings or Config button—typically a gear icon.

3. Find the option labeled Stack Grouping or Group Similar Items.

4. Toggle it ON.

5. Return to your item list. Related items should now appear grouped together.

6. Click any grouped entry to expand and see all variants.

Customizing Grouping Behavior

The mod includes automatic grouping for common item families like colored blocks, minecarts, and animal armor. If you want to adjust which items group together, return to Settings and look for Grouping Rules or Group Configuration options. You can enable or disable specific groups based on your preference.

Stack Grouping is especially helpful in modpacks with hundreds of items, making navigation much faster.
