Looking Up Status Effects in EMI

EMI Effect Descriptions adds a dedicated info screen for every status effect in the game, including those added by your installed mods. Instead of guessing what a buff or debuff does, you can open its entry in EMI and read a plain-language explanation.

The screen also lists the sources that apply that effect. Foods, potions, tipped arrows, and blocks are all shown, so you can find out where a buff comes from without leaving the game. Effect names are color-coded by type, making it easy to tell helpful effects from harmful ones at a glance.

Hovering over a listed source item reveals the duration and effect level it grants. Because the mod runs entirely on the client side and adds no new items, it is safe to use in singleplayer or on a server without changing anything about the world.
