Preparing for Subterranean Exploration

Before venturing into underground dungeons, gather protective gear and supplies. These structures spawn hostile mobs, mini bosses, and dangerous traps throughout their chambers. Bring weapons for combat and tools for mining valuable ores found in loot chests.

When exploring, watch for floor and room traps that can deal lethal damage to careless miners. Move cautiously through multi-room complexes and standalone chambers. Biome-specific dungeons like desert crypts and jungle laboratories have unique hazards and enemy types.

Look for hidden staircases in surface ruins—these lead down into large dungeon networks. High-tier loot awaits in throne rooms and major dungeons like the Ancient Dungeon, but expect strong guardians like wither skeletons. Smaller functional rooms such as blacksmith shops and alchemy laboratories offer valuable resources with fewer threats.
