Remove the Fire Overlay Completely

Disable the Burning HUD

If fire is blocking your view during combat or mining, you can turn off the overlay entirely.

1. Open Options from the main menu or pause screen

2. Look for the Ember Visual Architect settings button (usually next to Video Settings)

3. In the configuration menu, locate the Burning HUD or Fire Overlay section

4. Set the opacity or transparency slider to 0% or toggle the overlay off

5. Apply and close the menu

Verify the Change

Your screen will no longer show flames when you catch fire. You'll still take damage and see the damage indicator, but the visual obstruction is gone. This is especially useful in the Nether where lava is unavoidable.

If you want to keep *some* visual feedback, try lowering the opacity to 20-30% instead of removing it completely. This gives you a subtle warning without blocking your view.
