The Galaxy Sky feature transforms your night sky with stars, planets, and black holes. To see it properly:

Enhancing Your Night Experience

Pair the galaxy sky with Cinematic Dark Mode to deepen shadows and create more contrast. This makes the stars pop more dramatically against the darker sky.

Positioning for Best Views

Build an observation platform or rooftop without a ceiling to get an unobstructed view. Avoid standing under trees or in caves where the sky is blocked. The shader renders the galaxy effect across the entire visible sky, so higher elevation gives you a better view of the full effect.

Note that the galaxy sky works alongside Minecraft's normal weather system—clear nights show the effect best, while rain or thunderstorms will obscure it.
