Adjusting Shader Settings for Better Performance

Access the Shader Settings

Open your Minecraft pause menu and look for the Shaders option. Click on it, then select Emanrux Shaders from your active shader pack list. A settings screen will appear with multiple toggles and sliders.

Optimize for Your Hardware

If your FPS is dropping, start by disabling expensive visual features. Turn off or reduce:

  • Block Reflections — disabling reflections on quartz and purpur blocks significantly improves frame rate
  • Rain on Glass — raindrop physics are performance-intensive; disable if needed
  • Glowing Ores and Blocks — reduces the glow effect on ores and light-emitting blocks
  • Better Clouds — simplify cloud rendering for faster performance

Keep Visual Quality

The mod includes a "Faster Game Speed" option that removes extra grass effects while maintaining most visual appeal. Enable this first before disabling other features.

If you want to keep the shader's signature features (sun rays, realistic water, galaxy sky), disable the optional effects listed above instead of the core lighting system. Test your FPS after each change to find your balance between beauty and performance.
