Use Pitch Locking for Stable Flight
Understand Pitch Locking
Pitch locking freezes your current flight angle, preventing accidental nose-dives or climbs. This is useful when you've found a comfortable glide angle and want to maintain it without constant adjustment.
Activate Pitch Lock
While flying, press the pitch lock keybinding (check Mod Menu under Controls to confirm the key). Your current pitch angle locks in place. The HUD will indicate the lock is active.
Adjust While Locked
You can still steer horizontally (yaw) and move forward/backward, but your vertical angle remains fixed. This prevents muscle memory mistakes during long flights.
Unlock and Resume Normal Control
Press the pitch lock keybinding again to release the lock and regain full pitch control. This toggle system lets you lock and unlock as needed during a single flight session.
Practice Tip
Use pitch locking while learning optimal glide angles—it removes one variable so you can focus on horizontal navigation and speed management.
