Find and Snap to Your Optimal Glide Angle

Locate the Efficiency Indicator

The HUD displays a visual indicator showing the most efficient gliding angle for your current elytra. This angle minimizes altitude loss per horizontal distance traveled.

Snap to Optimal Angle

Press the snap-to-optimal keybinding (configured in Mod Menu under Controls) to instantly adjust your pitch to the recommended angle. This is faster than manually fine-tuning and ensures you're flying efficiently.

Why This Matters

Flying at the optimal angle extends your glide distance significantly. Without snapping, you might fly too steeply (losing speed) or too shallowly (losing altitude quickly). The mod removes guesswork.

Combine with Pitch Lock

After snapping to the optimal angle, activate pitch lock to maintain it throughout your flight. This workflow—snap, then lock—is ideal for long-distance travel.

Experiment with Conditions

The optimal angle may feel different depending on your playstyle. Use the snap feature repeatedly to develop muscle memory for the angle, then transition to manual control as you improve.
