Set Up Custom Keybindings for Elytra Control

Configure Your Control Keys

The Elytra Control Mod uses your existing Minecraft keybinds by default, but you can customize them for your playstyle.

Steps

1. Open Minecraft and go to Options → Controls

2. Scroll down to find mod-related keybindings (usually labeled under "Elytra Control" or similar)

3. Look for bindings like "Pause Elytra" or "Toggle Elytra"

4. Click on the binding you want to change

5. Press the key you'd like to use instead

6. Confirm and close the menu

Recommended Setups

• Pause: Keep Jump (Space) for intuitive hovering
• Toggle: Assign to a side mouse button or a nearby key like X or C for quick access
• Avoid keys you use frequently for other actions
• Test your bindings in a safe area before using them in dangerous situations
