How to Use the Elytra Chestplate Swapper Mod

Swapping on the Fly

Elytra Chestplate Swapper is a small quality of life mod with a single job: it swaps the item in your chest slot between a chestplate and an elytra when you press a key. The default keybind is the grave accent key ( ` ), which appears as ² on AZERTY layouts. If that key does not suit you, it can be rebound in the game's options like any other control.

The swap works both inside the inventory screen and out in the world, so you do not need to open your inventory to change gear. Press the key while wearing a chestplate and the mod moves it out of the way for your elytra, and pressing again returns the chestplate. This makes switching between flying and fighting quick and seamless. Just make sure both items are available to swap between, then tap the key whenever you need the other one.
