Transition Smoothly from Tunnels to Open Flight

Moving Between Confined and Open Spaces

When you exit a two-block-high tunnel into open air, your elytra transitions from being protected to fully deployable. This mod handles the switch seamlessly.

The Transition Process

1. Spam jump through your tunnel as normal—elytra stays inactive

2. Continue forward as you exit into open space

3. The mod detects the increased vertical clearance

4. Your elytra becomes deployable again

5. Jump to deploy and begin gliding

Avoiding Accidental Deployment

If you're still holding your jump key as you exit, the elytra won't immediately deploy. You have full control—jump again intentionally when you're ready to fly.

Practical Scenario

This is especially useful when mining or exploring underground: sprint through tight tunnels without elytra interference, then smoothly transition to flight once you reach a cavern or the surface. No need to unequip your elytra or manage inventory—just keep moving naturally.
