Set up a player's starting balance
Using the set command
When a new player joins your world, you'll want to give them an initial amount of money. Use the set command to assign an exact balance rather than adding incrementally.
Steps:
1. Have the player join your world (they don't need to be online, but it's easier if they are)
2. Open chat and type: /bal <PLAYERNAME> set <AMOUNT>
3. Replace <PLAYERNAME> with their exact username
4. Replace <AMOUNT> with the starting balance you want them to have
5. Press Enter to confirm
Verifying the balance
After setting the amount, you can confirm it worked by typing /bal <PLAYERNAME> to view their current balance. The balance will persist across all dimensions and remain saved in your world folder, so the player will keep this money even after logging out and back in.
If you need to adjust it later, simply use the set command again with a different amount. This overwrites the previous balance entirely.
