Set Up Low-Time Warnings for Buff and Debuff Effects

Enable Low-Time Warning

Open the Effect Timer Plus configuration menu and find the "Low-Time Warning" option. Enable this feature to trigger a visual alert when an effect is about to expire.

Configure Warning Threshold

Set the time threshold at which warnings activate. This determines how many seconds remain before expiration triggers the alert. A higher threshold gives you more advance notice; a lower one only warns you at the last moment.

Customize Warning Appearance

Choose a distinct warning color that contrasts with your normal timer text. This makes expiring effects immediately recognizable. Many players use red or orange for debuffs and yellow or white for important buffs.

Enable the optional flashing effect to make the timer blink as the effect nears expiration. This draws attention without requiring you to constantly watch your effect icons.

Test with Potions

Verify the color change and flashing behavior match your expectations. Adjust the threshold or colors if needed to balance visibility with avoiding distraction.
