Scale Effect Icons and Text Size for Better Visibility
Locate Scaling Options
Open the Effect Timer Plus configuration menu and find the scaling or size adjustment settings. These typically include separate sliders for effect icon size and text size.
Adjust Icon Scale
Increase the effect icon scale if you have difficulty seeing small potions icons, especially on high-resolution displays or at distance. Decrease it if your effect bar feels crowded or takes up too much screen space. Test at your normal playing distance and lighting conditions.
Fine-Tune Text Size
Adjust the text scale independently from icons. Larger text makes timers easier to read at a glance, particularly useful for potency numbers and countdown values. Smaller text reduces visual noise if you prefer a minimalist interface.
Consider Position Impact
Remember that text position (top, bottom, center of icon) interacts with scaling. Centered text may overlap with larger icons, while positioned text needs adequate space. If text appears cut off or overlaps after scaling, adjust the position setting or reduce scale slightly.
Test in Gameplay
Apply multiple effects simultaneously and verify all timers remain readable and properly positioned. Adjust scaling until you achieve a balance between visibility and screen real estate.
