Understanding Custom Bossbars During Combat

What the Custom Bossbars Show

When you encounter a boss from the EEEAB's Mobs mod, a unique health bar appears at the top of your screen instead of the standard Minecraft boss bar. Each boss has its own distinct visual style that reflects its character and threat level.

Tracking Boss Health

The custom bossbar displays the boss's remaining health as you deal damage. Watch the bar deplete to gauge how close you are to victory. The bar's appearance—color, design, and animations—varies by boss type, making it easy to identify which boss you're fighting at a glance.

Using the Bossbar as a Combat Aid

The bossbar serves as your primary indicator of boss status during the fight. If the bar disappears, the boss has either been defeated or you've moved too far away. Stay within range to keep the bossbar visible and maintain awareness of the fight's progression. The visual feedback helps you time healing items and plan your attack strategy more effectively than relying on the boss's appearance alone.
