How to Grow Crops Out of Season
The Core Idea
Normally, crops follow the world's current season — some grow in spring and summer, others struggle in winter. To grow anything at any time, you need to override the local climate. That's what Greenhouse Cores are for: each one forces its season inside an enclosed space.
Step-by-Step
1. Decide which season your target crop prefers.
2. Build a fully sealed enclosure — walls, roof, no gaps.
3. Place the matching Greenhouse Core inside (Spring, Summer, Autumn, or Winter).
4. Confirm the climate shifted using a Hygrometer and Growth Detector.
5. Plant your crops and watch the Growth Detector to verify they're growing at the expected rate.
Fine-Tuning Conditions
Season alone isn't always enough. Some crops also care about humidity, so add a Wooden Grate Humidifier (with a filled Humidity Tank) to raise moisture or a Greenhouse Dehumidifier to lower it. Read the Hygrometer and adjust one device at a time. With the right core and humidity, you can run a farm that produces any crop continuously, independent of what the outside world is doing. Keep the enclosure sealed — a single gap resets the interior toward the outside season.
