Improve Water Visibility and Transparency
Locate Water Settings
Access your shader options menu (Video Settings > Shaders > Shader Options). Look for settings labeled "Water," "Transparency," or "Water Clarity."
Adjust Water Properties
Eclipse Lite keeps water visually simple while maintaining transparency. You can typically:
- Increase transparency to see deeper underwater
- Adjust water color to match your preference (more blue, more green, etc.)
- Toggle reflections if available—disabling them keeps frame rate high
Underwater Visibility
If you're exploring underwater structures or mining, reducing fog distance or increasing water clarity will help you see further. Some shaders let you adjust "Fog Density" separately from water settings.
Performance Consideration
Eclipse Lite avoids expensive water effects like caustics and realistic refraction, so any water adjustments you make won't tank your performance. This makes it safe to prioritize visibility over speed.
