Customize Shader Colors and Contrast
Open Shader Configuration
Access Video Settings > Shaders > Shader Options to find color and contrast controls. Eclipse Lite typically offers:
- Brightness/Gamma adjustments
- Saturation controls
- Contrast sliders
Adjust for Your Environment
Different biomes and times of day benefit from different settings:
- Increase saturation in dark forests or caves to make colors pop
- Reduce brightness if the shader feels washed out in bright daylight
- Boost contrast to make terrain details more visible
Fine-Tune for Comfort
Since Eclipse Lite keeps Minecraft's vanilla style, adjustments should feel natural. Make small changes and test in different lighting conditions—caves, forests, and open sky—before finalizing.
Save Your Preset
If your shader supports profiles or presets, save your customized settings so you don't need to reconfigure after updates or world changes. Check your shader folder for a config or settings file you can back up.
