How to Store Guidebooks Inside the Eccentric Tome

Adding Books

Hold the Eccentric Tome and right-click to open its GUI. You will see an empty slot area. Drag any supported guidebook from your inventory into the Tome's slots. Supported books include Patchouli-based guides (the ones with the ornate cover style used by many mods) and Tinker's Construct books, among others. Once a book is inside, it is removed from your inventory and stored in the Tome.

What Counts as a Guidebook

Not every written book works. The Tome is designed for mod guidebooks that use the Patchouli book system or similar guide formats. Vanilla Written Books and Writable Books are not the target — those stay in your inventory. If a book refuses to go in, it is probably not a guidebook the mod recognises.

Organising Your Tome

Because all stored books live in one item, you can carry dozens of manuals in a single inventory slot. This is the main reason to use the Tome: instead of hunting through chests for the right mod's guide, you open one item and pick the book you want. Add books as you encounter new mods so the Tome grows with your playthrough.
