How to Retrieve a Stored Book from the Eccentric Tome

Opening the Interface

Right-click while holding the Eccentric Tome. The interface shows every guidebook you have stored so far, each as an icon in the grid. This is your library in a single item.

Reading a Book

Click a stored book's icon to open it directly. You do not need to remove it from the Tome first — the guide opens as if you were holding the book itself, letting you browse recipes, mechanics and tutorials. Close the guide when done and you are back at the Tome interface, ready to pick another.

Taking a Book Back Out

If you want the physical book in your inventory again — for example to hand it to another player or place it in a chest — shift-click or drag the book's icon out of the Tome's slots and into your inventory. The book leaves the Tome and returns to being a normal item.

Tips

Keep the Tome in your hotbar or a dedicated inventory slot so it is always one right-click away. If you play on a server, remember that other players cannot see inside your Tome; it is personal storage tied to that one item.
