View Eating Animations in Your Inventory

Access the Inventory Screen

Open your inventory by pressing E (or your configured inventory key). The mod allows you to preview how food items will look as you eat them without actually consuming them.

Preview Food Items

Hover over or select any food item in your inventory. If the mod has an animation for that food, you'll see it displayed with bite marks and progressive stages of consumption. This is useful for understanding how different foods will appear during eating.

Check Modded Foods

Because the mod uses global model overrides, food from other mods will also display eating animations if they're supported. Browse through your inventory to see which items have custom animations applied.

Why Use This Feature

Previewing animations in your inventory helps you appreciate the visual detail without committing to eating the food. It's also a quick way to verify that the mod is working correctly with your installed food items.
