Enable Animations for Modded Food Items

Understand Global Model Overrides

The mod uses a system called global model overrides, which means it can apply eating animations to food items from other mods automatically. You don't need to configure anything manually for most modded foods.

Check Compatibility

When you install the mod alongside other mods that add food items, the eating animations should work out of the box for supported foods. If a modded food doesn't have an animation, it means custom assets haven't been created for it yet.

Verify It's Working

Eat a food item from another mod while holding it in your hand. If the animation plays and you see bite marks, the override system is functioning correctly.

Limitations

Not every food from every mod will have custom animations. The mod includes animations for many common foods, but some niche or newly-added items may not have visual eating effects yet.
