Sit Down Using Double Sneak Mode

Setup

Double sneak mode is an alternative sitting method that uses only sneaking actions.

Steps

1. Look directly downward at the ground

2. Press and release sneak (default: Shift) once

3. Immediately press and release sneak a second time in quick succession

4. Your character will sit down

Exiting

Press sneak (Shift) to stand up. This method is useful if you prefer not to use right-click, or if you're playing with modified controls. The timing between the two sneak presses should be quick but doesn't need to be frame-perfect—a natural double-tap will work reliably.
