Sit Comfortably in Multiplayer

Setup

Sitting works in multiplayer servers and worlds, allowing you to roleplay or take breaks while remaining visible to other players.

Steps

1. Use any of the three sitting methods (right-click mode, double sneak, or command) to sit down

2. Other players will see your character in a sitting pose

3. You can still chat and interact with other players while seated

4. Press sneak (Shift) to stand up when ready

Tips

• Sitting is purely visual and cosmetic—it doesn't provide gameplay benefits
• Your hitbox changes when sitting, so you're harder to hit in PvP
• Sitting works on any block or surface; you don't need special furniture
• Use sitting for roleplay, taking screenshots, or just resting between activities
