How to Inspect Shulker Box Contents Quickly Without Unpacking

Peek Before You Commit

A common problem with Shulker Boxes is not knowing what is inside without placing and opening them. Easy Shulker Boxes solves this with a single keystroke. Hover over any Shulker Box in your inventory and press Left Shift to reveal its full contents in a side panel. You get an instant read of every stack without moving a single item.

Using It to Find Things

This is ideal when you have several similarly-named or unlabeled boxes. Instead of placing each one, opening it, and picking it back up, you can hover and press Left Shift down the line until you find the box holding what you need. Once you spot the item, right-click it to pull it straight into your inventory, then close the panel.

Avoiding Accidental Changes

Inspecting is non-destructive — simply viewing the contents does not move anything. Only your clicks transfer items. That means you can safely check a box mid-combat or mid-fall without risk of spilling its contents onto the ground. If you only need to confirm whether you packed a tool, a stack of blocks, or a specific material, this peek-and-close habit saves a lot of placing and breaking.
