Capturing Mobs and Collecting Loot

Easy Mob Farm is a server-friendly mod built around capturing animals and monsters to harvest their loot. The core loop uses two things: a catching item and a mob farm. You capture a mob with its matching catch item, then place it into the corresponding mob farm, which produces that mob's drops over time.

Most mobs work out of the box with the creative version of the farm, which handles custom animals and monsters without extra setup. Use it for testing before committing to survival builds.

Because each mob needs its own catch item and farm, the mod reads a config file where you can add new mobs and link them to the right items. Loot comes from the mods' own loot tables, so any changes you make to loot table data files are picked up automatically. The mod also integrates catching items from other mods, giving you more ways to capture mobs and feed them into your farms.
