How to Enable or Disable Sleeping in Specific Dimensions
Why Dimension Control Matters
On servers with mods or datapacks that add dimensions, you may want sleeping to work normally in the Overworld but be disabled in the Nether, the End, or a custom dimension. The mod supports toggling sleep mechanics per dimension, which prevents players from skipping time in places where it doesn't make sense.
Configuring Dimensions
Open the config file and find the dimension-related section. It typically lists dimensions by their identifier and lets you mark each one as sleep-enabled or sleep-disabled. Set the Overworld to enabled so normal night skipping works, and disable any dimension where you don't want beds to function or where skipping time would break progression or events.
Testing Each Dimension
Reload or restart after editing. Travel to each
configured dimension and try sleeping. In an enabled dimension, the night should skip once the sleep threshold is reached. In a disabled dimension, beds should either not skip time or behave as you
configured. If results are inconsistent, confirm the dimension identifiers are spelled exactly as the game reports them, since a typo means the setting won't match any dimension.
