How to Customize the Sleep and Wake-Up Chat Messages

Locating the Message Options

The mod lets you change the chat feedback players see when someone goes to bed, when someone wakes up, and when the night is finally skipped. These options live in the same config file as the sleep percentage. Open it and look for the message-related entries, which are usually grouped together.

Editing the Messages

Each entry holds a text string that gets broadcast to the server. You can rewrite these to match your server's tone, add color codes if your setup supports them, or include placeholders that the mod fills in automatically, such as the sleeping player's name or the current count of sleeping players. Keep messages short so they don't spam chat on large servers where many people sleep in quick succession.

Applying and Testing

Save the file and reload the config or restart the server. Then have a player enter a bed and watch chat for your new going-to-bed message. Have them leave the bed to check the wake-up message, and let the night skip to confirm the skip message. If a message doesn't appear, verify you edited the correct entry and that the text wasn't left empty, since an empty string may suppress the message entirely.
