Customize Biome-Specific Lighting
Locate Biome Settings
In the Earth Shaders configuration menu, find options for biome-specific adjustments. Some versions group these under "Biome Colors" or "Environment."
Understand Available Customizations
Earth Shaders typically allows tweaking:
- Sky color tint: Adjust how the sky appears in different biomes—warmer in deserts, cooler in snowy areas.
- Fog density: Control how far you can see; useful for creating atmosphere in specific biomes.
- Ambient color: Modify the overall tone of natural light in each biome.
Apply Changes Per Biome
If the shader supports per-biome settings, navigate to your target biome type and adjust values accordingly. Travel to that biome in-game to preview changes in real-time.
Maintain Consistency
While customizing individual biomes, ensure transitions between biomes feel natural. Extreme differences can break immersion.
Test Across Time of Day
Biome lighting changes throughout the day and night cycle. Verify your customizations look good during sunrise, noon, sunset, and night to ensure balanced results.
