Show Only Pokémon on Your Minimap and Hide Regular Mobs

Access Minimap Settings

Press Y to open Xaero's Minimap settings menu. This is where you control what appears on your radar.

Filter to Pokémon Only

Look for the entity display or waypoint filtering options. You'll find toggles to show or hide different entity types. Disable regular Minecraft mobs (animals, monsters, NPCs) by unchecking their boxes. Keep only Cobblemon entities enabled.

Edit Configuration File (Optional)

For more precise control, navigate to your resource pack's configuration folder. Open the relevant config file and locate the entity filter section. Add or remove mob IDs to customize exactly what displays. Save the file and reload your world.

Verify Changes

Return to your world and press Y again to confirm your minimap now shows only Pokémon faces. You should see no standard Minecraft creatures on the radar—only the custom Cobblemon icons you're hunting for.

This setup is especially useful in heavily populated areas where regular mobs would clutter your minimap and make spotting rare Pokémon harder.
