Identify Shiny Pokémon on Your Minimap

Recognize Shiny Marks

The E19 resource pack adds special visual marks to shiny Pokémon icons on your minimap. These marks distinguish shinies from their regular-colored counterparts at a glance. Look for distinct visual indicators—often a sparkle, star, or color highlight—overlaid on the Pokémon face.

Spot Them While Traveling

As you explore, scan your minimap for these shiny marks among regular Pokémon icons. Shiny marks stand out visually, making it easy to prioritize rare encounters without stopping to check each Pokémon individually.

Approach and Confirm

When you spot a marked icon, move toward it. The minimap will guide you to the exact location. Once you encounter the Pokémon in-world, you can confirm it's actually shiny before engaging.

Addon Support

If you're using supported addons like Vivillon Pride Patterns or other form variation packs, shiny marks work alongside form-specific icons, so you'll never confuse a shiny variant with a different form.
