Optimize Shader Performance Without Losing Visual Quality
Identify Your Framerate Bottleneck
Load into your world and check your current framerate. E LITE MakeUp Shaders is designed for speed, but optimization depends on your hardware. Identify which effects impact your framerate most by disabling them one at a time.
Prioritize High-Impact Settings
Shadows and ambient occlusion typically consume the most resources. Start by reducing shadow resolution or disabling them entirely. These changes often yield the largest framerate gains.
Next, lower or disable bloom and glow effects, which are visually noticeable but less critical to the shader's core appearance.
Keep Quality-Critical Features Enabled
Maintain color enhancement and basic lighting adjustments—these give E LITE MakeUp Shaders its distinctive look without heavy performance cost.
Use Preset Profiles Strategically
If available, the shader may include "Performance" or "Balanced" presets that already optimize settings for speed. Start with these and adjust from there.
Test Incrementally
After each change, spend a few minutes in your world observing both framerate and visual appearance. This helps you find the optimal balance for your specific computer without guesswork.
